Ti Cycles Edifice™ 3-Wheel Conversion

Developed for top Paralympic athletes, the Edifice adapter easily converts a standard 2-wheel bicycle frame to a performance oriented 3-wheel tricycle. The adapter consists of two precision made titanium axles, a titanium axle housing, a titanium triangular seat strut, and a titanium crash bar assembled with titanium hardware on an aluminum superstructure.

The EDIFICE adapter connects to a standard bicycle frame via the existing rear wheel dropouts and a triangulated point, generally the seatpost binder clamp, for stability.

The EDIFICE uses and is compatible with TryKit brand cassette adapter and hubs.

The EDIFICE is 100% made in the USA and assembled in our Portland shop.

The EDIFICE has been built in three different configurations, detailed below. All configurations use the same Baseplate.

CONFIGURATIONS

PLEASE NOTE: With any part there is an inherent trade-off between weight and durability and both must be considered. Standard Configuration adapters are the most solid and durable option. Racing Configuration adapters are built for optimal race day weight savings and do not offer the same stability or durability as Standard Configuration adapters and are not intended to be used for training or everyday use. All weights are approximate and based off triangulation of average dimensions for a 55cm/Medium size frame.

ORDER PROCESS

While the EDIFICE is a standardized platform the bicycles that it mounts to come in numerous shapes and sizes, requiring some degree of customization for each adapter.

For a precise fit we require the following information for your order:

-- Measurement from frame rear axle dropout to seaptost binder bolt*
-- Measurement from bottom bracket center to seatpost binder bolt*
-- Measurement from frame rear axle dropout to bottom bracket center*
-- Photo/type of seatpost binder bolt*
(* Required to calculate proper length for triangulated seat struts)

A note on pricing and deposits for custom frames: Prices reflect base pricing for the product with standard features, not complete bikes. This is a deposit towards a final order and is not a final price.  Deposits secure your place in our work schedule.

After a deposit is placed a work order for each project is generated. We’ll work with you to determine the exact fit, design, features, and finish details for your project and applicable pricing for frame, frame/fork sets, and complete bike orders. Details such as electric assist, custom paint, internal cables, shaped tubing, etc are available on any custom bike.

Delivery dates for custom bicycle orders can very a great deal depending on fabrication complexity, similarities with other projects that lend to small batch manufacturing efficiency, time of year, volume of orders, etc.
